OCLC data usage limitation:

1. WorldCat Data is to be used only for the noncommercial purpose of engaging in academic research.
2. Access to OCLC data is restricted to current MELA members.
3. Licensee will provide appropriate attribution to OCLC in all written works and public presentations making use of WordCat Data.
4. Neither the WorldCat Data nor any part thereof, may be disposed, displayed, reproduced, sold, licensed, made available, distributed or transmitted in any manner or form without OCLC’s prior written consent.
5. Licensee may not disclose the location of any materials held at any other institutions without OCLC’s prior written permission from the respective holding institutions.
6. Licensee agrees it shall not modify or create derivative works of the WorldCat Data not specifically permitted in this Agreement without OCLC’s prior written consent.
7. WorldCat Data is being provided for use in a research and academic context. Other uses (including but not limited to, fee-based services or services that obtain advertising revenue, commercial use, release in a data set, and inclusion in a database or portal) are prohibited without OCLC’s prior written consent.
