Anyone who is employed by an institution to service Middle East library materials in a professional capacity (selection, acquisition, cataloging, indexing, reference work, administration, and/or preparation of research tools), as well as any other person who has an interest in these aspects of Middle East library materials, is encourage to join our Association.
The membership year begins at the time of the Annual Meeting of the Association. Our annual dues are U.S. $50.00. The membership fee includes a subscription to MELA Notes, published annually. The by-laws of the Association (as amended) delineate the member service opportunities and responsibilities.

- For those who find it more convenient, it is possible to pay for more than one year in advance. Lifetime memberships are $600.00.
