
The Middle East Librarians Association annual meeting and related events
will take place from
Thursday-Saturday, November 19-21, 2009 in Cambridge and Boston, Massachusetts

Biographies of the nominees for V.P./President Elect and Member-at-Large are now available.
PROGRAM: Thursday, 19 November, in the Arlington Room of the Marriott Copley Place Hotel. The Arlington Room is on the third floor of the Marriott.

GETTING THERE:
You can walk, or take bus number 1, with a stop on Massachusetts Avenue, not far from the MESA hotel. The bus sign says "Harvard Station." Get off at the MIT stop, which is on 77 Massachusetts Avenue.

The Stratton Student Center is about 1.5 miles from the Marriott, so it is also possible to get there on foot.

REGISTRATION:
This year MELA is pleased to offer an Earlybird Registration Rate: For payments postmarked or sent by PayPal by October 31, 2009, the registration fee will be $55.00; AFTER THIS DATE or ON-SITE the registration fees will be $75.00. This is to save administrative effort by MELA Executive Board, and to encourage you to pay your registration and dues in a timely fashion.
Registration costs are inclusive of a light breakfast (pastries/fruit/hot and cold drinks) and a halal Middle Eastern-style lunch for both days of the meeting, featuring the following menu:
